The short version

Privacy

How your raw data is handled

DNA (23andMe / Ancestry): your file is read and turned into art entirely in your browser — it is never uploaded to us or anyone. Wearable data (Apple Health, Oura): these sources can’t be processed in the browser, so your data is sent over HTTPS to our service, used in the moment to create your artwork, then deleted immediately — never stored, never logged, never shared or sold. In every case, only the finished image continues onward.

What we do collect

To make and ship a print, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, shipping address, and email at checkout. We use these only to fulfill and deliver your order and to send order/shipping updates. Your generated artwork (the image — not your data) is uploaded to image hosting so it can be printed and minted.

Who we work with

Stripe (payments), Render (hosting for the service that turns wearable data into art), Cloudinary (image hosting), Prodigi (printing & shipping), and thirdweb / the Base blockchain (NFT minting). Each processes data under its own policy.

Cookies & analytics

The site is static and does not set tracking cookies.

NFTs are public and permanent

Blockchains are public and permanent. Your artwork and non-identifying details (a one-way seed code and the date) are published on-chain — never your raw data. Once minted, on-chain records cannot be deleted.

Your choices

Email genepiart@gmail.com to ask what order information we hold or to request deletion of what we can remove. (On-chain records and completed-order records held by Stripe/Prodigi may persist.)

Terms

What GenPi is

GenPi turns your data into a one-of-a-kind generative fractal, sold as a digital piece with an NFT, plus optional museum-grade archival prints.

Made to order

Each piece is unique and personalized. Because items are custom-made, sales are final — except if a print arrives damaged or defective: contact us within 14 days with a photo and we'll arrange a reprint.

Your art, your license

Your purchased artwork is yours for personal use — display it and print it for yourself. This doesn't grant rights to GenPi's brand, software, or the generator itself.

Not medical or genetic advice

GenPi is art, not a medical, genetic, or health service. Nothing here interprets your DNA or health, and it is not medical advice.

As-is

The service is provided "as is," without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, GenPi / GE Corp is not liable for indirect or incidental damages.
