ID/CUIL: 20314310021) operates the GenePi platform (“GenPi” or “the App”) via www.genpi.org. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how your data is handled when you use the GenPi App.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all users globally who access GenPi through any browser or platform.

3. Information We Collect

Personal Data: None. We do not collect names, emails, IP addresses, or personal identifiers.
Genetic Data: Your DNA files (e.g., 23andMe raw data) are processed only on your device. We never store, transmit, or access your data.
Payment Data: Payments are handled externally by PayPal. We do not process or store payment credentials. PayPal’s terms apply.

4. How Your Data Is Used

Your DNA file is used locally to generate personalized content (music, fractals, barcodes). Nothing is uploaded or shared.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or analyze your data. We use no cookies or analytics tools.

6. Data Security

Because all processing is local, there is no server-based risk. Users are responsible for securing their own device and files.

7. Children’s Privacy

The app is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have full data control because no information is stored. No personal or genetic data leaves your device.

9. International Use

No cross-border transfers of personal genetic information occur. GenPi is compliant with global privacy frameworks.

10. NFTs & Verifiable Credentials

If you choose to generate NFTs or credentials from your output, this happens locally. We do not store, verify, or control these outputs.

11. Changes

We may revise this policy in the future. Any material changes will be posted on this page.

GenePi Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using GenPi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Service Description

GenPi allows users to convert their raw DNA files into musical compositions, fractal visuals, and entropy-based barcodes. All results are computed locally and are unique to each file.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older.

4. Local DNA Processing

All DNA files are processed locally on your device.
We do not collect, access, or store your file.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your file is legal and acquired with consent.

5. Payment Terms

Each generator (music, fractal, barcode) requires a one-time payment via PayPal.
Each payment allows one file upload per feature.
We are not responsible for PayPal errors or refunds — refer to PayPal support for payment issues.

6. Output Ownership

You own the content generated (music, image, barcode). GECORP retains rights to the app platform, UI, code, and underlying models.

7. Intellectual Property

The GenPi app, design, and algorithms are proprietary. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce the platform without written permission.

8. License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes only.

9. Limitations & Disclaimers

No warranties. Use the platform at your own risk.
No liability for output interpretation or decisions based on generated content.
No liability for NFT or blockchain-based risks if you tokenize your content.

10. Termination

We may revoke access at any time for breach of terms or abuse of the platform.

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by international laws. Disputes will be handled in international courts or arbitration systems.

12. Changes

We may revise these terms at any time. Your continued use after updates means you agree to the changes.

13. File Requirements and User Responsibility

Before making a payment and using the App, users must ensure they have the correct input file: a raw DNA data report in .txt or .cvs format, typically obtained from genetic testing companies such as 23andMe, AncestryDNA, or MyHeritage. Only plain-text DNA data files (.txt and .cvs) are supported. The user is fully responsible for uploading a compatible file. If an unsupported file type is uploaded and the app fails to generate output, GECORP is not liable for the failed service, and no refunds will be issued. Please verify your file before proceeding with payment.
